About me

Hi, I’m Holly; the owner of Holly’s Pet Holidays, which is a small, family-run business; offering boarding facilities for small pets at our home. We also offer a local home visiting service for pets (including cats) who prefer to remain in their own surroundings. 

Having my own pets, I know how important it is to ensure they are well-cared-for if I’m on holiday or away for any length of time. There are so many things to consider when looking for the appropriate care arrangements and I have tried to factor in all of these when setting up Holly’s Pet Holidays.

We offer a home from home feel for all boarders; with spacious, clean and secure accommodation. They will have daily exercise and plenty of attention, along with healthy food and, of course, the little treats we all like to have when on holiday! 

So, a bit about me…… I live in Long Eaton with my partner, Antony, and our little menagerie (take a look at the photos). I love animals and have grown up surrounded by pets; so have a great deal of experience in caring for them. 

I’ve worked as an accountant for 20-plus-years, but decided to swap the gruelling, full time hours for self employment. This now means I have a great work-life balance and can follow my dreams; one of which, is looking after animals and setting up my own pet boarding business.
